Robe hook on back of door

How could you add a robe hook to the back of a bathroom door and have it visible in both an elevation view (door closed), and in a plan view (door swing open)? I can get it in one or the other but not both.

If you are using the OOTB doors..It will be just the closed door where this will work, as the swing elements are 2D linework.

You would have to place it on a door that has a 3D swing to show on plan and elevation, but that would take a lot of work at printing if you want to show the door open on plans and closed for elevations.

I suggest sticking with the elevation view and not show it on floor plans. Besides, they are easier to tag and show height in elevations.

3D robe hook family nested into door with visibility turned off in plan, shows in elevations. 2D robe hook family nested into door in plan only shows in plan.

I have a special Robe Hook Family that actually shows the Plan Rep based on the swing of the door, but is modeled on the door that is closed.

Why does this not surprise me?
