    Deleting duplicate objects

Is it possible to delete duplicate object quickly?

    For example:
I was placed a component in first floor. After i want the same component to Second floor.
Now,i am using Copy to clipboard option and paste to selected levels.the component doesn't created in second floor. It was created in first floor. Now i want to delete the duplicate component. Give me some idea.

I believe that duplicate elements are tracked in the warnings and can be deleted from that dialog.

Check first that the second floor's Visibility Graphics (VG) allow that specific component to be visible. Normally, 'Copy to Clipboard' and then 'to selected levels' work fine, unless your component is a Model In-Place.
Now, to delete duplicate objects, go to the 'Warnings' icon (Manage->Inquiry->Warnings), and there you will find the message with the duplicates. Maximize the message, and you will see a Warning with a number. Maximize that and you will see (and be able to select) the components that are duplicated. In this case, since they are equal, it does not matter which one you select. Select one of them and the button 'Delete Checked' will be accessible for you to click and get rid of the duplicates. Do the same process for every duplicate, and be aware that you can select many duplicated instances before clicking on 'Delete Checked'.

        Hope this helps,
