    Keynote in Room Schedule?

Is it possible to use a keynote as a field in a room schedule? We use the Revit keynotes as a "Material ID" in the project, in which all materials, finishes, detail elements, etc. have a code that references the specification. I would like to be able to identify the keynote in the room finish schedule to identify the proper paint color, tile type, etc. without having to recreate the "keynote" number as text.

Is this possible, or am i adding to the wishlist?

    Welcome to the forum.

What you have in mind might not be possible. Usually, you would handle this with a key schedule for rooms, such as "Room Finish". Each row in this key schedule will have a designation (a key) that means a different combination of Base finish, Floor finish, Wall finish, and Ceiling finish. Then, in the room schedule, you assign a key from the key schedule to each room. I hope it helps.
