    how to lock ortho in revit ?

    hello i have simple question all of us know that we can lock ortho in autocad by simply clicking on f8 or press ortho button to make straight line how can i lock ortho without have to press on shift key
    and thanks

    Revit automatically snaps to 0, 45, 90 deg ...etc. I don't think there is a need to lock ortho.

      PijPiwo is correct Revit will auto snap to 0, 45, 90. Holding the shift key will force constraints to 0, 90. Also some commands have a constraints check box in the command properties once the command is active.

        AND, you can change the snap angles to snap to whatever you want. 0, 45, and 90 are default (I think maybe 15 is too?? Not real sure). But, yeah, you can set the snap angle to whatever you want.
