Temporary Revit Files killing my Solid State Drive!!!

I need help with my revit deployments. I set my user files to be stored in a temp drive on our server, how do I tell Revit where to store all the temp files that it creates & why are there so many???

See the pic I have attached, there are 100+ files created this morning @ 10/17 am and I have only opening 1 file. Why are all these temp files showing up here?

I think I have answered my own question... lol

These temp files I am seeing are the running my current session of revit and when I close the files down in revit these values ( files size go to 0 or close to it)

    Any insight is welcome!

If you are using a Central Model then it needs these files for synchronisation between the different clients and for recovering when it crashes.

Revit outputs the temp files by default to the user's Windows temp folder: %temp% (c:\users\%username%\local\temp)
I would not recommend that you change the path for this variable, because all other programs also use this folder.
