REVIT 2017 - DEPTH CUE - Can't click "show depth" / greyed out in view template

I love the new option of depth cue in the Graphic Display Options. I am able to apply it to any new section or elevation. However, It will not let me apply it to an existing view template, and I'm unsure why. The option is greyed out, see attached image. Has anyone come across this issue yet?

With View Templates, the selections are setting specific. So while there are multiple options to change in the same window, you can only change that specific setting in the View Template. Close out of that window and switch to Depth Cueing.

The discipline of your view has to be either Coordination or Architectural. (For whatever stupid reason. God forbid other disciplines want control over how their views look).

Also, i believe it has to be in a 'section' or 'elevation' view... not a detail view, for example.
