    fill patterns

When I was working in a 3D view I noticed some weird behavior of the fill patterns in beams/mullions. Attachments 01 and 02 show the same section only to be tilted a little. Whereas the hatches in the walls and insulation act normal, the pattern in the beam (which is cut by a section box) shows always parallel with the view. Attachment 03 is from a previous post, but with the same issue.

And before you're gonna say: change the setting from 'orient to view' to 'align with elements': I did. Every pattern setting is aligned with elements. And to check things further: I've changed the material from the beam to the same as the wall, yet still the same occurs.

    *kick*

This issue still bugs me. Anyone who has a solution at hand?

I don't think there's a solution. I remember reading somewhere that the "align with elements" only works for certain categories (walls amongst them) and not for other categories.
