Parameter Jerk (free Add-in) - Released!

I've released the beta version of Parameter Jerk 2012.

It works in both Revit 2011 and Revit 2012.

Parameter Jerk helps to automate importing of one or more shared parameters into one or more Revit Family Files.

Supplemental data (defaults) can be attached to each parameter indicating where to "Group Parameter Under", whether it's an instance or not and a there's a notes field.

    oh...and it's free....'cause that's the way I roll.

Try it out, let me know what you think, ideas for improvements, etc. Feedback

ps...i can't seem to upload a screen shot but keep getting the red explanation point. Que pasa?

Wow! sorry I have to wait the end of vacation to try it!
There's an extension that is supposed to do the same no? but far far away from handy AFAIK.
thanks for sharing, maybe it could be add to the RFO addins?

Yeah...you have to kind of laugh (or I do, at myself). Just after I finished the routine I did a search for something similar and came across "Revit 2011 Shared Parameters Converter Extension". It does do something similar but with a couple major differences.
              1) it does not allow you save/ restore configurations which would make it difficult to use on the fly. i.e. when productions staff download a family from the web.
              2) it does not allow you to apply to the current file.

But...still. I suppose a major reason for me to write it was for the learning experience.

Gregory, no laugh at all. Your stuff is REALLY handy compares to Autodesk stuff.
I will try it in real production mode in a few weeks, will send you some feedback then.
First things, re sizable window maybe; and the ability to set a default value to the parameter?
thanks again for sharing it with us.

                  Julien,

I have added your suggestions to my to do list. Default values meshes up with an existing one (formulas, add order)
