    Roof slope!

Hi folks. I'm having a brain freeze ATM so thought id throw this here.

How can I produce in Revit the roof to do what is shown in the image with the people. Cant work this one out and I know its easy. Right?

Maybe the best way to go is to model it by extrusion instead of by footprint.

When editing the profile in sketch mode, select an edge with a defined slope, and give it a negative offset. See attached images.

You can use slope arrows with a defined height at the tail or adjust the plate offset from base in the properties.

All of the above will work... I personally go with the base offset of a slope defining line.

Or you can shape edit a floor to generate the same.

Go Revit! 4 ways to generate the same geometry...
