    Buying Revit Family

    All,

I had contacted by 'Revit Content', they make Revit family for living.
Have any of you ever had similar experience? are these family actually work?

I would pass, too bulky and hard to work with. I don't need my users getting an instruction manual with the families they are supposed to use.

I hate those families. Would never let anyone in my company touch them.

They look a lot like the Revit City families.

I bought a bunch of them a few years ago; never touched them . . . they looked like they required a huge amount of time and effort to learn / master. Too many parameters to work with in the time frame we get on projects.

If someone wants to make an investment, the Revitworks "Door Factory" and "Casework Workshop" [http://www.revitworks.co.nz/] look like a good investment; all the inputs are given in advance and the family that is outputted is really quite light and simple. But quite costly . . .
