    Label struggles

I've created a title block family.

Added some labels of my own.

Put them in the Common discipline and made the type of parameter Text.

Place the labels on my title block

I load the title block into the project.

    Labels aren't editable.

Go to Manage > Project parameters > shared parameter and find my parameter.

Make it Instance, group it under text and place it on the Sheets category from the category filter list.

    Press ok.

    My label still isn't editable.

Back to manage tab click shared parameters find my parameter and press ok.

    My label still isn't editable.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong please?

Change the parameter in the project from the Sheets Category to Project Information.

If they were project information, they'd be the same for every sheet. They need to be under sheets if you want different values for each sheet.
Are the parameters showing up in the sheet properties, and if so, can they be edited there?
It sounds like you've checked this, but they need to be shared parameters in both the titleblock family and the project from the same shared parameter file (or at least created from the same source with the same element ID).
