Can someone do me a favor and try to open a recent file while in perspective view?

Like the title says. go to a perspective view, then click the big R, then click on recent file to open. Does it open a file for you? Mine doesn't.

Same here (2012). If my current view is a perspective view, I cannot open a recent file. I had never noticed this before.

Ok, Just wanted to make sure it was not limited to our configuration. Support is making me go through a bunch of trouble shooting steps as if they can't replicate the problem implying the problem to be on my end.

2011 does the same thing but with a twist.

Another one to add to the list. I hate that we cannot select Edit Family while in perspective view.

Well, if you browse through the ribbon while in perspective view, there are just a few tools that are available in this mode. Most of the options are greyed out. But I would not classify this as a problem or a bug.

Yes there are a whole slew of things that one would like to do in perspective mode that we can't.... like EVERYTHING. But unless it's lost functionality from a previous release, I don't think it's a problem according to Autodesk's definition.

I have never been able to open a revit file while in a perspective view - for me that means from 2008 onwards.
