    Density calcs, boundary lines

We're using in-place masses, mass-floor schedules, and Options in an urban design project to test densities across the site using different massing approaches. We currently use floors to show/get areas of the various site plots into which to divide the building areas, but they look pretty bad and was wondering if anyone had tried alternatives. For eg: we use both 'consistent colours' and rendered plans to show accurate shadowing, but would like these with plot boundaries shown simply as closed lines, directly connected to the schedules..?

Why aren't you just using Mass Floors instead of the Floor object also?
As for shadowing, the whole mass should be enough to do the Shadow Study no? So for the "plot boundaries" you are using mass also?

Ok to put it another way: does anyone know a way to make a calculated schedule value showing number of flats per hectare (ie the site residential density). Number of flats in our case at this stage will be the total mass floor areas / 100 m2. The site area we're currently getting by creating a thin mass, and giving it one mass floor so it schedules.
