You can select the layer and click the up and down buttons. That's about it.Martijn de Riet

Bangobeat, there are at leat 2 options:
1) A true 3D solution : make the finish floor a separate floor entity, and adjust the sketch in plan view as necessary.
2) A 2D solution: use View > Edit Cut Profile, to "fix" your section view, modifying the boundaries of the floor finish layer.Freelance BIM Provider at Autodesk Services Marketplace | Linkedin

THe trick here is setting the right priorities to Wall and Floor layers. Basic groundrules:
- The primary rule in deciding which layer cuts which is the Function (structur > substrate > etc..). The higher in ranking order always cuts the lower when joined.
- Layers inside the Core Boundary always cut layers outside the CB with the same "strength"
It seems to me you need to review the assignment of Function and placement in relation to the Core Boundary for both Wall and Floor to make this work.Martijn de Riet

To Clarify,
There are 6 'Function Types' from "1 Structure" to "Finish 2".
These determine the joint 'hierarchy' and how the join is created.
To activate the join, use the "join Geometry" tool. Alternately click 'yes' when completing your floor and prompted "would you like to join geometry and cut the overlapping volume out of the wall(s)?"I used to be high on life, until I realised it was cut with Morons.
Combating ignorance daily through learning.
