Railings schedule (post, panel, segment)

Hi All !

in Revit 2012 can make schedule for parts of railing (post, panels, segment).
but if I create this schedule it is empty.

what am I doing wrong?

Hmmm... not sure you´re doing anything wrong... havn´t tried this before now, and am puzzled why we get the option to schedule:

Hardware
Panels
Posts &
Segments

While Railings consists of:

Balusters &
Rails

WTF?

You can create a baluster panel and a baluster post family. Is that what it is scheduling? Not sure about the hardware and segments.

Maybe the stairs you are scheduling in the sample project don't have any hardware, panels, etc. etc. Maybe it's just a regular railing?

Honestly, I´d guess that we are seeing some of the preparations for better railing tools in 2013 (or 2020 )

I think you're right...
triad create new project with new families (Baluster.rfa, Baluster-post.rfa, Baluster-panels.rfa) in family I see this parameter

but nothing changed :banghead:

if someone will can please write :beer:
