I am always wondering how to dimension wall some of the faces?
in my case basement wall - 250mm concrete, 100 insulation. dimension cant fix into layer where is insulation.. and i do mark the where is dimension bar "wall faces" and i tried all of them..help.
Have you tried activating in the options bar the "prefer wall faces" instead of centerlines? Or have you tried pressing the "tab" key to cycle through the available edges?

One thing I learned early in Revit. The tab key does a lot of things. When in doubt, hit the tab key.
That, and look at the status bar at the bottom left of the screen. It sometimes tells you what Revit is expecting from you. It's useful when things aren't doing what you expect them to. Especially if you're new to the program.
