Walls not showing in structural elevations

I already posted this at "that other site", but everyone is here...so....

Whenever I cut an elevation or section, then change it's discipline to structural, the walls disappear. I can't figure out how to keep that from happening. I checked all the usual suspects, and nothing is working. If I change the discipline back to architectural, the walls come back. Any ideas? :banghead:

This is due to the fact that the wall are not set as bearing walls. Arch has their own walls and Struct has its own walls. If the Arch wall has the "bearing wall" check in the instance properties it will display the walls when you set the visibility to structural. You could also dawr structural walls is Revit Structure.

      Hi dzatto
      glad you made it over.
Don't you have to put walls in as structural. Under structral on ribbon
      or
change the walls "structural usage" in wall properties to strutural
      and it will work

      oops to late !!

Wow, I feel stupid. I checked everywhere, but it never occurred to me to make sure the walls were structural. I don't run into this problem unless I'm doing a CMU block building. Thanks for the replies guys. Now if I can only get my damn IT guy to unblock the site at work, I'll be on here way more often. lol
