Cutout in stair

Guys,

For our construction process we use precast stairs. In this particular case we are not only creating the precast 'main stair flight', but also the mid-landing stair. I'm wanting to cutout a section of one of the stair so there is no overlap, is this possible? So far I haven't found a way of modifying the stair profile as you can do for floors, walls etc.

That looks very strange. Have you tried with the precast stair type with the notch condition?

I think a good solution is you do by Modeling, use the extrusion so you have freedom to make any shape and any cutout.
