    Shaft opening

    I have created a shaft opening around a staircase to cut all my floors. It is very easy and quick, but now i have a problem with my landings. The landings in one side of the staircase is created as a floor and then the shaftopening also remove this...

    Do i really have 2 cut all my floors around the staircase?

    You could try to model the landings as in-place (stair category)

      The stair category is gone in my project ;-). But i tried the generic category, and it worked fine.

        I tend to not even use shaft openings unless I have a common opening passing thru all floors, Like a Mech chase, or Elevator. I normaly just edit the floor to get the opening I need.
