I had to take over a file which a person in my office started who doesn't know jack about Revit, and I'm noticing that all of my interior elevation views are showing up as exterior elevations. I try to create a new interior elevation and my only choice is to create an exterior elevation. Is there some way to reload the interior elevation keys?
NEVER LET PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING CREATE REVIT PROJECTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just load the families that you use for the interior elevation symbols then make the elevation types for the interior elevations. You could use another one of your projects as an example for settings and you could pull families from another project as well.
Thanks stl4310, that worked exactly for me too. Nothing else did. Dunno why people keep saying to use copy and paste or transfer project standards, when they don't work... or at least in my case....
Hello! I'm a very new Revit user. I used ArchiCAD for 14 years, absolutely loved it, but recently switched firms. One big things that jumps out at me...
is there a way to know which elevation maker is related to specific elevation view using API?
in my case, i want to hide all unreferenced view tags...
