Thanks for your reply.... Actually we have the different LWT's for different view scale....Some of the details are at custom scale in which we require a some specific LWT...that why equal setting didn't work for me.
Thanks a lot.... A long ago I register with Autodesk support team at that time they replied me that they are going to implement it next version...after wards there are two releases but still it is not implemented...hope so it will available soon.
Thats the great thing about "words". The term "next version" always applies to the next version. Just like "tomorrow". Tomorrow is always the day after today. /heavy sigh
There's a thread over on AUGI that discusses this in depth, but I believe the bottom line was that any scale that's not in the list goes to the next closest. Might be the next finer scale, but I think it was the closest.
Anyway, what that means is that if you have 1/8" ...
(oh, oh, you're in India)
Let's say you have Pen 5 set to 0.5mm at 1:100 and 0.3mm at 1:200 in the list
If you make a Custom scale of 1:150, Revit will use 0.3mm
(Please forgive me if my metric number are funny. I'm stuck in the USA & we have to use these archaic feet and inch things)

Hmm... i am in INDIA .... We use Metric.... I scared @ feet n inch
Dave...you metric numbers are correct one....
You are absolutely right...but issue is I have a different LWT for 1:150 n 1:200 .....n I have a some views which I need both view scale at different LWT.
If you want a really thick line, you could create a filled region. Go to Annotate, Region, select Filled Region, draw the lines, offset them by however thick you want them, form the shape by closing it at each end and use a solid hatch to the colour you want.
Hi guys. i have some question regarding model Line weight scale. in Revit i know we can create a custom scale in the project. but in terms on controlling...
Creating a custom scale looks like it should be pretty easy. I seem to be fumbling. If ratio is all I can enter, I'm not finding one that gets me to 2"...
We have tested a simplified line weight scale solution on a single project and so far, like the results. However, there is always something to consider...
How much emphasis does everyone put on making sure line weights and line patterns scale up/down? I know it's as simple as adjusting the view templates...
Apart from having a bit of a mare with lineweights (they're not behaving like they should - and I'm trying to work out why) a question has just cropped...
