    Curtain wall joins

    Hi!

I created some custom curtain wall mullions to represent a nice curtain wall.
But the mullions dont connect propper. They should "join" each other as with the standard revit mullions.

In the red circles you can see there are gaps between the joins, how can I fix this?

Ow, one more thing, how do you guys solve the corner mullion? I know you cant create your own corner mullions so now there is a gap between the two (45 degrees)
Should I create an extrusion and cover it? or is there an easier way
    Thanks!

There are several profiles built in for corner conditions. The gaps may just be a function of camera angle. Look at them head-on in an elevation and check the gap there.

Yeah but I want a custom corner mullion, but got that problem solved now (corner mullion).
The gaps between the vertical and horizontal mullions is really there, so how can i fix that?

Probably a setting in the family. Can you post a stripped down file with just that CW in it?

or, just post the profile. Something wrong with it IMO

Thanks for trying to help me out.

The issue is the profile shape. The inset is causing the gap, if you look at the join at the rear of the shape the mullions hit correctly but at the front you have the gap. I however don't know a solution offhand...

yes, the profile is the problem and the solution depends on what the OP is trying to achieve. If it is desired to have what we here in the US call a zero sightline SSG (structural silicone glazed) horizontal section the profile should look like this . If a standard curtain wall horizontal with exposed face is desired the profile should look like this . I think that the basic problem with the OP's profile called Hout tussenprofiel 67x114 is that it doesn't take into account that the Center Front/Back Ref Plane is the center line of the curtain wall curtain panel when the curtain wall is created. If the OP would like me to post the profiles shown in the screen shots for reference, advise

Thanks for your answer Dave! However I do not quite get what you are trying to say. The reason is the english terms I dont understand what they mean in Dutch.
However I am trying to create a wooden curtain wall (well already created it perfectly except for the mullion..)
I just want the profiles to stretch a little bit more and join each other.

It should have joins like this:
                  (see attachment)

can you be a little bit more specific about the

part? If that can solve my problem.

                  Thanks for the effort!

I think that what you want to accomplish is going to be difficult if not impossible using curtain wall profiles because of the shape of the wood window parts. I would use a profile family for the perimeter section and the muntin section nested in a GM family to create sweeps which will look like what you want. Like this:
