    Odd Revit Server File Sizes

With about 10 projects running on the Revit Server now I've come across an oddity that I can't find any information on and was hoping someone might have some insight. Most of the projects on the server range from 50mb to 250mb for the model. The support files are all a few bytes/kilobytes. Then I noticed a couple projects that have 100's of mb in support files. Anyone know why or what this means?

    Typical projects look like this:
Model: 206 mb Support files: 240 kb

Odd projects with large support files:
Model: 155 mb Support files: 593 mb

My guess is that the odd sizes are from models that are in Revit 2011. There is a file bloat issue with 2011 models on 2011 server that represents an inaccurate Central File size on the Admin Console. We started freaking out when we saw how 'big' models were getting early on. Really they are just backup files I think that take up the extra space and they have not had a performance impact on Revit.

The 2012 RS Admin console looks much nicer. We are rolling it out this weekend. 28 servers to update!!!

The projects are in Revit 2011, but the Revit Server is the 2012 version. Its just odd that some projects have very tiny support files after 600+ saves and the first save of a project being moved to the server has a 600 mb support file.
