[Revit Structure] - Improve beam joins

    Applies to: - Revit Structure

    New Feature / Problem:
    1) Improve the way steel beams are joined together
    2) Improve the way concrete beams are joined together(cast in place)
    3) Foundation Isolated snapping to structural columns

Why do you need this Feature / Why is it a Problem:
    1) Improve joins of structural framing(steel).
    2) Make a 'disallow join' for concrete beams. When you want a join between concrete cast in place beams of 10 mm, it's almost impossible to make, because they are joining automaticly.
-When to beams are joining under a sharp angle, you cannot choose the way they join.
-When a high beams meets a lower beam under 90 degrees. The lower beam is continuous. In this case the high beam will cut the lower beam. Sometimes, this is simply not the case.
    3) The foundation isolated family is always snapping to a structural column. In many cases, you do not want this. In case of prefab, there will be a small spacing between the column and the foundation

    Workflow:
    see above

    Benefits:
Improves the modelling tools of revit

    1. Would certainly be nice
    2. As far as I'm concerned, the disallow join would be nice for all types and flavours.
    3. This is pretty easy to set up in your family, either footing or column.
