[Revit Architecture] - 2D/3D Property Lines

    Applies to: - Revit Architecture

    New Feature / Problem:
At present property lines are sketched, or placed to points, in plan, purely as a 2D plan-based entity.

Their extents are not accessble in elevation or section views.

It would be nice if they did (show) OOTB.

Why do you need this Feature / Why is it a Problem:
To show boundary definitions in elevations & sections requires workarounds, of which a number are documented.

This secondary exercise to the intial boundary sketch/placement doubles the number of edits, creating risk, and reducing productivity.

    Workflow:
The property line element acquires the same 2D/3D duality that grids & reference planes have (with one difference - they needn't be perpindicular to view to appear when cut) - when drawn, they the automatically appear in the vertical.

    Benefits:
    Immediate , one-edit-does-all method.

Consolidates different ways of working across practices.

wouldn't those boundaries in vertical views taper ever so slightly?
never used it, probably never will. strange to think how we all use revit differently. painful to imagine being a developer at autodesk being pulled every which way.
There must be a better way...
