    v0.75 RFO Ribbon Add-In - Downloads

    Howdy folks. To try and push this project forward, I made a few changes to what surrounds the app, not the APP itself. Krispys loading code and mechanism remains intact and unchanged.

    I decided to include a few additional DLL files, standardize its home and wrap it all into a nice pretty installer (NSIS) which allows you easily install/uninstall the add-in for the 2012 product line.

    Krispy, I think its best if we keep track by version, I picked .75 as I think we're probably three quarters of the way there. I will include additional suggestions I have in the appropriate forum. I envision three threads for each version :
    • vX.XX RFO Ribbon Add-In - Downloads (for consumption by gen_pop)
    • vX.XX RFO Ribbon Add-In - Source (for the tinkerers)
    • vX.XX RFO Ribbon Add-In - Feedback (questions, suggestions, general feedback)

    The directories for the APP were selected as follows:

    Main APP files reside here
    C:\Program Files\RFoRibbon

    AddIns are here
    C:\Program Files\RFoRibbon\Addins

    Copy of the "MASTER" addin file is plopped here
    C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2012

    Few screen shots and the app itself :

    ps-check out the EULA =) .. I think you'll find it to be quite humorous.

    Jose,thanks you are a legend. Up and running, nice and easy.

    Just a suggestion, if this thing gets much bigger is it possible to have a switch to disable selected addins, or is there a way we are able to disable the addin files
    Thanks again.

      Excellent point, .. addins can still be added removed manually :

      open up C:\Program Files\RFoRibbon\RFO_Addins.xml and edit the tag to say enabled =false
      Code:
          <Vendor Id="BIMK">
            <Command Id="4a238aa1-d689-400c-9570-278354b01792" Enabled="[B]False[/B]" />
            <Command Id="250622e5-03f6-46e4-8460-b16c67eaac54" Enabled="[B]False[/B]" />
          </Vendor>
      .. or remove the lines all together.

        Way to go Jose! Love the automatic installer, and it of course works like a charm. Thanks!

              Alex,
              THANKS!

              Yes 2012, I mention as such in the blurb above .. =) ...

              I thought the EULA was quite humorous! Found it online and modified it slightly.

                Wish I could use this, but my IT guy is being really lazy about upgrading our license server....
