    Filter naming convention

    Hi,

How do you name your filters? Do you add include type of filer (ie equal to, does not contain etc) in the name. For example I have a filter that selects all sections except Level 1 - using Family and Type does not equal Level 1. This filter is named "SECTION - Level 1 - does not equal".

    Thanks for any input.

I don't use filters much (yet) some of my users don't like them, but I think it's more of not understanding how to use them.
What I do use, I name by it's function. For example, to show fire-rating, we do One-Hour, up to Four-Hour, so I just call it One-Hour FR. I do use it for some visibility settings in consultant link files, to show a certain way in my sections or elevations, those I name, Struct-Section or Elec-Section, or Struct-Elevation, etc.
I haven't set up any that are for specific levels, not sure why I would do that.
