Issues with Rendered Glass Appearance (Revit 2017)

I am having an issue with glass appearance in a scene I'm renderings with Revit 2017 that I have not experienced with previous versions of the software.

Within my interior scene, I have several light fixtures that use clear glass. When I render on a lower setting such as Medium 150 dpi, the glass appears clear as I would expect. However when I render on a higher setting such as High 300 dpi, the glass appears like a dark gray frosted material.

I cannot seem to resolve this and I am looking for any possible solutions. Please see attached images for reference. Thank you!

I'm going to guess it has something to do with the number of refractions the rendering calculates. Medium has fewer (or none), high has more.

In Revit 2014 I'd have hope to resolve this issue based on your reply. I recall that I could adjust reflection/refraction, however in 2017 - I don't have that capability as far as I know. I will continue to experiment. If I can find a solution, I will post. Thanks!

Hmmm... that's new. Sorry then. I got nothing.

Have you tried using an Appearance that is based off a Generic Appearance and manually configuring it to mimic glass? To me it's not readily apparent how the properties of the OOTB Glass appearance will affect the rendering.

I haven't yet - but I'm going to try it because this is driving me nuts!
