COBie? Structural Models

Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked before.

Do any of you structural guys out there provide COBie drops for structural models?
I think its missing the point of what COBie was set up to do (its for maintainable assets)

Thought I would ask and see peoples opinions. Seen a few links and read BS1192-4 and cannot find anything which speaks volumes lol

COBie really isn't structured for Structural because structural items need little maintaining. I have seen it written into execution plans for all disciplines, even for transportation projects, but I have a feeling these were written by people from building s with little knowledge of the structure of COBie and its intended use.

Backs up what I am saying, I have been asked for it a few years ago with no real guidance on what I was actually being asked, I read up on COBie and BS1192-4 and it is pretty much what we are saying. Unless the client deems a structure as a maintainable asset, though in that case seems like the client wouldn't know what they were asking for in the first place.
