Note: The only issue I can see with W10 and Intel 12th gen is that sometimes Windows will just render on the E cores (Efficient Cores) leaving the P cores (Performance Cores) idle. It shows in the render result which on W11 was about 25 seconds compared to W10 with 68 seconds . This will vary depending on the software. For example, Cinebench R15 this issue occurs but not Cinebench R20. Elevating the software priority to "above normal" in the task manager seems to temporarily solves this but will need to be checked each time the software is opened.

Otherwise, W10 seems a bit faster for sure over W11 in the model creation test.

I think the gem of 12th gen right now seems to be the i5 12600k, just blows me away compared to the 11900k in price and performance. Straight Revit, I think the 12600k will be amazing and then scale the processor per the needs of cores.

DDR4 is my fav at this moment as well. Fast DDR5 will trickle out. By 2022 Q1 I am guessing DDR5 will overtake the DDR4 latency advantage.

I also noticed Revit only using the E cores for rendering during the benchmark.
But if you render in Revit it will use all cores after a minute or so.

But imo not a real problem, no one uses Revit rendering option 🙄

New here and just built a new windows 11 machine. It's a beast overall for other tasks, but in Revit it has an issue with loading such as changing to realistic view in a 100meg file takes a long time (23 seconds) But once open, can move around fine with no delays. Same with loading Enscape and the changes made in Enscape take 5-6 seconds to update in EN model, but model runs navigates perfectly. Any suggestions on what I can tweak to increase this type of performance? Any help tracking down the bottleneck would be appreciated.
