Forum descriptions ?

I didn't use AUGI much, but I went back about a month ago to look up some things, and I saw the new forum names and was wondering who got tasked with coming up with those names.

All the feedback I've heard about revitforum.org indicates that the simple straight-forward approach is best, and a good part of the appeal. However, everyone should feel free to offer opinions about layout, organization, descriptions, etc.

The only thing i would suggest is renaming the RAC - General, or amending the description, so as to say that general platform questions for all three verticals can be asked there. That way people arent asking "How do i print" in the RST general forum. Surely they CAN if they want, but it gets much less traffic. Theyre better served if the questions in RST general are "I cant get my rebar to space correctly."

Excellent idea! I just gave the forum link to my Engineer this morning that had called me to ask some Revit questions as he is just getting started in Revit Structural. When I emailed him the link I told him to post general Revit questions in the Revit Architecture - General forum because he would get a better response. It would be nice if the forum name was self explanatory...

I agree, but it also needs to say something about architecture. Otherwise, people with actual RAC questions won't know where to go! lol

What exactly do you suggest instead ? :beer:

PS: Would really apreciate it, if someone with better english skills would go over all the titles and descriptions - and when making suggestions for changes, keep in mind that this is also what the google bot is reading (SEO)
