    Our New Home (take 2)

Ok. With the domain reassigned and the dns sorted, we can now see how the new home stacks up.

    For me, somewhat better.

Traceroute now direct to ServInt servers. DNS has reached Oz. w00t!!

Hold it for a second.... could still be 20 hours before the DNS have resolved everywhere... So if you vote in the above poll, within the next 20 hours, please ping revitforum.org and make sure that you´re getting in contact with the new server: IP = 216.38.52.175

        Around 100ms, Holland area.

Edit/add-on: just noticed I still can't use the file upload manager. Well, I can, but after a few seconds trying to upload an image that circling icon stalls, to leave me behind with no new upload. Tried in IE, FF and Chrome. By the way, looks like RFO loads fastest in Chrome.

We've received a bunch of optimization suggestions from the official vBulletin Support (Upgrading and tweaking mySQL, PHP, installing Xcache, etc.), after filing a optimization request. (The new host is really great, but servers are not optimized for vB, as with the last host)

ServInt is, as I write this, upgrading various systems, and tweaking a lot of settings, based on the optimization suggestions from vB Support! We are not expecting any downtime during this process, but should the forum "go down" for a couple of minutes, then rest assured that it's not a "break down".
