    Wrench Solution & Revit...

Hi guys! do you have any ideas on how to incorporate Wrench (EDMS- electronic document management system) and Revit. In our company, they're investing on this Wrench software. however, in my opinion, this can't be integrated on revit, especially if we're doing worksharing. can you share for any ideas on this? The only thing that i can think of is that when producing drawing files, that's the time they can incorporate it. (By importing revit to autocad so that they can upload it to Wrench). any other ideas guys?

We use in my office Projectwise from Bentley. It has a full integration with both Autocad and Revit.
Worksharing works like a charm. Family and templates management is allowed too.
If your solution doesn't support Revit, export as cad or pdf is the only way to go.

Wrench has the capability to read the linked drawings from the Revit models. Also Wrench provides the provision of Plugin to work from Revit itself while reflecting the changes to your central file.

          Hi,

I have idea on electronic document management system. It provides storage, versioning, metadata, security, as well as indexing and retrieval capabilities. It is the easy method of storing the data in the organizations, as document management is the major impact for an organization.

See if you have Shadow Copies enabled. Go to any file, Properties, Previous Versions. This has saved our bacon many times!

If you are in a multi-user office environment, the server may be backing up files as well. If you have an IT person, check with them.
