Any way to stop the http/https facebook stuff?

While I appreciate the attempt to include social media connections into the forums, this little function makes it annoying to sift through the forums.

I'll get a pair of facebook browser...cookies, or something, every few minutes I'm viewing a forum here. Makes it so I have to back up a lot of times or take the time to manually jump back many pages.

Any way to stop these from generating?

Your monitoring your cookies that closely? Or I am not following as I don't get anything Facebook related except for the Like Button..

There are some extensions for Firefox that will stop sites & cookies from popping up. I'm pretty sure AdBlock Plus will do it.

I was getting some random " f connect " black box near the top center of the screen. I think that is what was causing it. It has subsequently disappeared. I'll post again if it comes back.

I'm not sure if "cookie" was the right word...but it caused me to have to press the back button 6+ times to go back one page in the forum.

It should't do that... But as you have noticed, the "feature" have been disabled. Nobody seemed to use any of the FB options anyway
