    Lightbulb Colors and Styles

Just finished working on the forum style.

We´ve added a custom style for it (credit to: EPCZ Design), working with purple and grey colors, to match the software. (Revit - Light style)

But some may prefer a dark background, so an alternative matching style is also available (Revit - Dark Style)

For now, there´s also the vBulletin Default style to choose from, but unless anyone really must use that one, I´m tempted to delete it ? (Let us know if you want to keep it)

The forum now defaults to the first (Revit - Light Style), but you can choose another style at the lower left corner on each page (Your pick should be remembered, untill you choose another style)

Hope you´ll like it, and wish everyone a nice weekend.

As I posted a minute ago in another thread, I like the new Revit Light Style but can see switching to the Dark Style just for a change of pace occasionally. The vBulletin default style I personally don't care about so don't care if it's there or not.

    I'm self employed...what's a "weekend" ?

Hmmm... being self employed my self, and just using the term without really knowing what it is... but according to wikipedia:

The workweek and weekend are those complementary parts of the week devoted to labour and rest respectively. The legal working week (British English), or workweek (U.S. English), is the part of the seven-day week devoted to labor. In most Western countries it is Monday to Friday. The weekend comprises the two traditionally non-working days in the seven-day week.

What constitutes the workweek is mandated either by law or custom. In Christian tradition, Sunday is the "Lord's Day" and the day of rest and worship. The Jewish Sabbath, known as Shabbat, lasts from sunset on Friday to the fall of full darkness on Saturday. The French Revolutionary Calendar had ten-day weeks and allowed decadi, one out of the ten days, as a leisure day.

The present-day concept of the weekend first arose from the Dies Solis (Day of the Sun) decreed by Constantine, and the Biblical Sabbath. The weekend in Western countries comprises Saturday and Sunday, when most employees do not have to work. Whereas the Sabbath itself was just one day each week, the preceding day also came to be taken as a holiday, because it was considered necessary to do preparatory tasks at home that would permit proper Sabbath observance the next day.[citation needed]

Thanks Munkholm, the light style is very nice, and easier on my eyes.

I have another request/question. The icon that indicates a new post within a thread is currently a very light blue color - see attachment. It is a bit hard to distinguish from the white color of old posts. I was wondering if you can change that color so it pops more. It would make it easier to quickly scan to the first new unread post in a thread.

And thanks again for all of your work setting up this forum!

thanks for that, but I prepare for Sunday on Saturday and attend the Church of Revit on Sundays. All day services, everyone welcome, some experience necessary

(no offense meant to those that do Church seriously)
