    How to update??? Help :(

    Hi,

I seem to not be able to use packages properly. When I try to download this information shows up:
The following packages use a newer version of Dynamo than you are currently using

I tried to download newest version from dynamobim.org but I get a folder of files with which I don't know what do do with. Theres InstallUpdate.exe file, but it won't run...

    Help!

What version of Dynamo are you using? For example, if the package was built for Dynamo 2.0, and you are using 1.3, then you need to specifically choose an older version of the package (if it exists) and install that.

In Dynamo (and most programs) go to "Help" and choose "About" from the dropdown list.

To install an older version of a package you select the package and choose an older version from that list, rather than using the download button to the left of the package. You may have to do some research to find which package you need to use with your version of Revit.

Of course you could update Dynamo, but that depends on your Revit version, who and what you are working with, and if you are using existing scripts.

    Ah thank you
Dynamo seems to think it's up-tp-date:

we use Revit 2019 nad we have subscription so we should be able to have the newest versions of everything.
Should I keep trying to get newer version od Dynamo?

I'm guessing that's the most up to date version of 1.3.
You can download the latest 2.0 from the dynamo forum.
