Placing Views on Sheet From Excel List

I'm missing something simple here I think...

I have a spreadsheet with a bunch of drafting views names & sheet numbers (typical campus details) and I need to create the views in each building file (easy enough) and would like to then place the views on the sheets they go on to make placing callouts easier.

I have filtered the document view list by the excel list and have the views grouped by key (sheet number), but when I go to put them on sheets the node places the first view in the list and then returns a bunch of nulls. I've tried with both of the SteamNodes and the Viewport.Create Rhythm node. The Rhythm node is the only one I've had any success with - I've tried Auto, Longest, and Cross Product lacing. I'm sure it is something dumb that I'm overlooking but I figure all morning is too long to stay stumped on something like this. Long story short - how can I get the views onto the sheets they belong on (i.e. where did I screw up)?

I struggled with the same thing for a while.
Dug into my Dynamo graph & tried all kinds of tricks.
Then I realized that Revit won't let you put an empty View on a Sheet
So if Revit won't let you do it, neither will Dynamo.
Just make sure there's something - anything - visible in the View.
Draw a line or something & it should work.

In the other graph that adds the views I have it adding a detail component to every view using FamilyInstance.ByViewAndPoint. Or it did at one point... I just looked and it isn't currently placing it everywhere

And I'm an idiot... At one point I was placing a DC in all of the views and apparently broke that functionality at some point. Rechecked that part and everything works fine now.
