    Im deliberately avoiding Electrical as I have enough to do with Mechanical, waiting for one of theirs to show an interest or learn dynamo...
    I'm hoping that I can generate some interest in others at my company if I can get this panel schedule tool working. Although it's actually causing some anxiety among the electrical designers, because they spend so much time manually filling out their panel schedules. I told one guy "Well, if it's not me that automates this stuff it'll be someone else later. Don't you want to be the guy who knows how the automation works and not the guy who just puts numbers in boxes?"

    Okay, so now I'm trying to make a similar custom node that will take the Breaker Size and output a string for the wire size. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? How do I output a sting value from a code block?

    amps;
    a = [Imperative]
    {
    if(amps=15)
    {return = "#12";
    }
    else
    {
    if(amps=20)
    {return = "#12";
    }
    else
    {
    if(amps=25)
    {return = "#12";
    }
    else
    {
    if(amps=30)
    {return = "#10";
    }
    else
    {
    if(amps=35)
    {return = "#10";
    }
    else
    {
    if(amps=40)
    {return = "#8";
    }
    else

    ...

    }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
    return = 9999;
    }
    };

    Thanks!

    I realized my error above: I needed to use "amps==20" and "amps=20."
