Autocad 2d to Revit object/family by Dynamo

    Good evening,

I hope someone can help me, I have been looking for a long time. I have been looking for tutorials for some time to connect 2D autocad lines to objects / families of revit. Is there a standard script or tutorial that tells how I can convert a 2D line of for example a curb into a revit object?

    thanks in advance

There is a package called 'LinkDWG' that includes some useful stuff. It has some ActiveX tools that can import selected objects, lines or layers directly from an active dwg. Then you could write the curves into a Drafting View, Detail Item or other 2D sketch using the various Revit Line From Curve nodes.

Check out PowerConvert from ArchSmarter. It's a small cost app that works great for CAD 2D lines to Revit lines in the family or project environment.

You can use BimorphNodes CAD.DetailCurvesFromCADLayers or CAD.SymbolicCurvesFromCADLayers nodes for creating curves from CAD links or imports. There are inputs for filtering by layer too. More info here if it's suitable for your workflow:
