    Hi guys!
I am trying to create shared parameters from an Excel file to add them to the project
But, the node does not work

    how should I proceed?

If you look at the error message on the node it can provide some good information. In this case it is looking for a certain type of input in the form of: array; array; array; string; string; Revit Categories. You can skip 3 of the nodes you have and get almost there. The other error that will pop up is about an invalid parameter type. Double check your spreadsheet - there are some spelling & capitalization errors

It can not find the shared parameters file (though I created a new one!)

    Hi Aida,

First of all thanks for the above screenshots - they helped me get the right nodes in place to make this script work.

Theres a node called 'Parameter.SharedParameterFile" (top right) - I think it just reads the location of your .txt file in Revit (make sure you have one loaded) and then writes back to it.

You can see the Revit window on the left - it wrote my new Shared Parameter and I can now use it. Writing a script to apply the new shared parameter to REvit families is my next task.
