Is there an easy to know which packages i'm using in a particular graph?

If i create a complex graph for someone and send it to them, sometimes they don't have the right packages installed. is there an easy to for Dynamo to know which packages are being used in the graph and notify me or do i need to troubleshoot each time.

    Thanks,

(Revised, see scubaman's answer) U̶n̶f̶o̶r̶t̶u̶n̶a̶t̶e̶l̶y̶ ̶n̶o̶.̶ ̶N̶o̶t̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶.̶ ̶ Typically I see users make sure to annotate their graph well with the packages used.

There is a way but not sure how Josh Moore and Justin Benjamin accomplished it. I think they wrote a dynamo script to open the text version of their scrips and got the names of the nodes and then mapped it to the package. Not sure though just know they did it. You can see there AU presentation at the link below. Checkout the handout provided and go to page 14 and 15.

Sorry I cannot be more help than yes someone has done it someway.

Yeah, there are ways around it and that is super clever. But, I would rather just annotate my Dynamo graphs (code) correctly in the first place. When building reusable stuff like Dynamo graphs, it is always nice to "keep an eye out for the next guy/gal".

I would agree johnp. We should keep an eye out for what nodes we are adding but sometimes its hard. This will help to know what you have added with ease and allow for a double check. Some times I miss a node.

There may be a better way to do this but this is what I cam up with over lunch. It list all the nodes as well but they are just the OTB one so I just filtered them out. Let me know what you think.

This is very nice indeed. I tried to improve it a little to simplify the file names extraction from the "packages" Directory. The number of packages is still greater than the number of nodes, I will need to check why, along with a couple of other details.

I finally think getting the nodes paths would suffice to collect all useful information (the only point is that I don't see how to access the Zero Touch nodes list).
Edit: I also see that some custom nodes still do not appear in the final list [...]

Unfortunately my knowledge of zertouch nodes is limited. I have been slowly reading up on them. Looks like now is a good time to try and figure them out.

When you say some custom nodes are not appearing what ones are they. Are they in the bin folder or another one?

I have decided to post my last graph on the Dynamo Forum to see if any improvement could be done. See:
    https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/find-n...-a-graph/16367
I have extracted the name of the node directly in the header of the file because it is sometimes different from the name of the file itself, and that's why all custom nodes did not appear in my final list. It's late here already but I will be happy to read any contribution tomorrow...
