    Change Level of a Space

    Hi all,

I'm trying to change the Level of the Space to another Level but it seems that i'm doing something wrong.

I read all the Built in Parameters with regarding "Level" of the Spaces but still doesn't work.

    Anyone can help me?

    Thanks

Using the UI you can't either. Rooms and Spaces have the Level property read only so i dont think you can change them using Dynamo by just changing the level.
The way to do it with the UI is to Cut and Paste to a new Level. Same would work with Dynamo

Thanks for reply, sure i tried it first in Revit but it seems when you have 2 different Name Levels with the same elevation and you cut and paste all those spaces they paste at the same level (incorrect one) not the good one.

I have two Level Names "(dont use)LEVEL 00" and "00_Groundfloor" if i cut all the spaces in the "dont use level" and paste in a new floor plan view associated with "00_GroundFloor" they paste again at "dont use level"... its so annoying.

    Thanks.

    Hello S Ramirez,

To generate spaces, it's as simple as the following graph. This will generate New Spaces, so you'll have to assign the information over from the originals after the fact (Then simply delete the originals).

As an addendum (And note, I haven't tested this), this could be one way of you going about said mapping:

In theory, if the parameter is read only, it should simply fail. If you want to be good about it, you can add the read-only ones into the Filter.

Grouping spaces before copy-pasting on a selected level through the clipboard and then ungroup seems to work (as well as the workflow described for rooms here: https://forum.dynamobim.com/t/change...cement/14392/4)
