    Dynamo overwrites revit elements

I'm working with Dynamo 1.2.1 with rebars. Each time I re-run my script on different elements it overwrites elements generated in the previous step even if I save and close both Dynamo and Revit.
I create bars and they appear in Revit but, when I change input of the script and re-run it, it generates new elements but the previous ones disappear.
    Could somebody help me?

It will probably take people familiar with rebar, but posting your current script will help.

I dont use rebar but i learnt that lesson the hard way when dynamo randomly overwrote a big stack of my sheets and losing all the placed views, even though all new sheet numbers were unique. Also i couldnt undo bc of 'non editiable' workset ownership warning - so also sync and get ownership of worksets before running dynamo What i do currently is set my script to create sheets using a different type of titleblock (one not in use), then select all and change the family type over, this process doesnt overwrite existing.
Im sure there's a way in dynamo to filter existing ID's or something & not just overwrite stuff but im not that clever yet.

Just .. Wow! (however, this sound familiar as many other dumbass macro in any other cad (bims) software would do this. It helps you wanting making any sheey. I would advice you to Ask Autodesk to come back later.

This is just how Dynamo works. It doesn't commit changes until it's either told to commit the change via a "transaction" or exiting the graph. If it didn't work this way you'd have a heck of a time building the graph! There are lots of threads on this over at the Dynamo forums including methods to commit changes.
