Revit Model for CostX with Phasing

Hi, anyone here can share any good tips on how to export my Revit model with phasing to QS so that she use for cost estimation in costX?
Totally clueless here...coz I passed her my model, but everything from existing to new phase all showing up for her.
    Thank you.

Add the phase/demo parameters to your schedules and then filter by those

If they are loading your model into some other software that cant handle phases, I would suggest exporting IFCs for each phase (You can also clean up the parameters to only export what is relevant).
Then say "Good luck with that!". People need to learn how to get/use data from other models and not always expect it to be delivered to them already sorted as they want it.

Oh I see you're talking model geometry not schedules..oops...you can export several differnent formats from 3d views set to show phases. IFC as Joseph said but also navisworks. As suggested they should know what they want and what is possible.
If the QS wants a revit model then 3D views and schedules.

And this person grumbled and sent you packing to a forum?

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news - but unless this person driving Cost X hasn't a solid Revit-import workflow defined, ready to share and willing to work through it with you, then phasing is just going to be the first of MANY hurdles you're going to be up against.

Once established, Revit-to-CostX is (theoretically) a fantastic workflow* - but as with all data-exchanges like this need a wholesome, and honest, chat to begin with.

*I've got it to work in R&D but never seen it run on a live project.

I know it's not going to be easy. Hence trying to find any advices or tips from the experts here in the forum to help.
No grumbling etc, just everyone learns along the way, she's new in using the software costx. And we are working for the same project, if there's anything i can do to get the job done more accurately, why not?
