I am running into a serious issue and need your assistance. I want to use view filters to graphically represent fire ratings, so I can limit the number of wall types. The only issue is that fill pattern orientation only works at the COARSE detail level. Do you graphically represent fire ratings in your walls? Do you set your floor plans to coarse level? I can't imagine that this will show enough detail in my walls. Any thoughts? Maybe you strictly use tags and do not graphically differentiate between rated and non-rated walls?

Refer to a previous post in this thread. It's been discussed elsewhere as well.

Short version: all layers of the walls (including stud layers) must have a cut pattern. But it can be a single line that repeats every 1000 feet. That's what mine is. And the cut pattern must be set to Orient to View, in the patterns dialogue.

Then it works at medium and fine LOD as well.
