Sorry, Martijn, yes, I was away from the thread, but tonight I am reading all the replies. Thank you very much, guys. Well, since things had to move quickly at the office, by the time I am reading all these ideas, I had already created the sheets for projects B and C in the hard way, but I still have to do the sheet for project D, so I am going to try your solution, which seems to be a good one, according to the interesting discussion with Aaron. I have some concerns about that copy/paste operation, though... I would not worry if it was a small project with nothing more than the model itself, but this one has some imports and links.. if I had to rebuild all that, things can go wrong, and it would be too much to risk for just trying to save some time... I think the topic deserves some kind of special tool from the Factory, for future releases. I am going to study and try your method with a small pilot project, first.

    Hi Alfredo,

Which copy/paste? The only copy/paste I do is concerning the views (and view markers). Everything else is just the standard linking operation. I would be interested to know however in how linking and binding a model which already has other models linked would behave. That one I didn't test.

You´re right. Maybe I should have said the link and bind operation...
So, in your method, the former project B .rvt file is left behind, and then you create a new project B based in the template?

jep. that's the idea. But again, I have no clue on how this responds to a link-in-a-link situation. I know it works surprisingly well with "single-level" projects. But if it means you loose the links in project b, then it wouldn't be very helpful.
