    Area Tags

    We have an area plan of a multitenant building with the actual areas listed. In the area schedule, we have a column for Rentable Area. It there a way in which the Rentable area from the schedule can appear in the area plan instead of the actual area? In other words, can the rentable number from the schedule be linked to the area plan so when the rentable number changes in the schedule, the number on the plan will also change?

    Revit has multiple "Area Schemes" one for example is gross and meant to create area plans and schedules reporting the gross building areas, then you can make additional schemes, one built in is for rentable. This is the one you are looking for, you place the boundaries where you want to give the rentable areas you wish to show.
