    Question staircase doesn't show like they should

    I've a problem that I couldn't resolve yet. look at the floor plan that I provided in the post (you can see it also at the 3d pic). in the floor plan the 2 staircase looks strange (one over one) how can I fix that?

    Is the view using wireframe vs hidden?

    Looks to me like it is in Hidden Line mode. It's the overhead runs showing as dashed. This is the part about stair modeling (documentation) i detest. Have not yet found a workflow i love, even after working in Revit for many years.

    For me, it's playing the dumb linework game when dealing with overlapping up/down runs. Plan regions, view range, etc doesn't get it done. I wish i knew of better options. For starters, i'd probably suppress the overhead riser line subcat in the example above since it doesn't add much to telling the story....one less line to battle with. Keep the overhead nosing lines on, possibly suppress those as well? For the latter, it would depend on how it is being documented. That might help to clean up the dwg, IMHO.
