    Stair numbering print definition

We have numbered the risers on stairs but when the drawing is printed the numbers look very "blocky" and low definition compared to other text on the drawing. Is this something other people have encountered?

Yep. Encountered this. And have had no time to investigate. Looking forward to what others have to say.

Me too. The numbers look like crap to me, but not crap enough that I've had anyone else complain about it.
    "it's a Revit thing"/inconsistency/bug.

    What version is that?
Text changed between 2016 & 2017, but Labels (Tags) didn't get the fix until 2018.
Maybe Stairs are yet another function that needs the fix?

I see it in v2018. Haven't used it in 2019 yet (or 2020 lol). This is a project level tool, it's the un-aliased look on screen that is the issue, although I can't say it's an issue when printed/pdf'd.

Ok, it sucks, I'm not arguing that. What I said was that I have had no complaints.
the missing 3 is a worry though, and I have not seen missing numbers.

    2018 for me too.

BTW this isn't THAT issue that is meant to be fixed in 2020: something like: "symbols within in families had odd text, lines, etc." ?

It's the same issue. Because a GA with text nested in a family, looks just like that text. The question is, did it only get fixed for conventional families, or isn't fixed here as well...
