    Thanks for the reassurance.

Sure enough. It isn't listed on the requirements.

Not really my call. They just started phasing in Windows 10 with new machines recently. Most are still on Window 7 SP1. But it looks like it will be our call if we want to move up to Revit 2020 or any version in the future.

    Same around here.
Does anyone have a fix? I've checked the shortcut in the icon, but it was correct. So there's no reason to be in viewer mode.

I received a response to my question about this from an Autodesk representative. He directed me to this article: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/searc...licensing.html

I followed instructions, but after that, my Revit 2020 continues to be in viewer mode.

Alf, is this a stand-alone license or a networked?
If it's network, you'll usually need a new version of FlexLM to go with the new version of Revit.

Although, I've never quite understood why. As far as I can tell, FlexLM isn't really doing anything different. They UI certainly hasn't changed in 10 years.

    ...
Thanks. It is a stand-alone commercial license, monthly subscription.

Someone mentioned that the standalone licensing would not be available for a couple of weeks ....but if it shows at your Manage portal, then it should be working.

I got nothing so far....so no sense installing if I can't enter a serial number.
